Job Title: 4th & 5th Class Engineers

Select People Solutions is seeking a skilled 5th Class Power Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various mechanical systems and equipment within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and operate equipment such as boilers, pumps, and dryer systems to optimize performance.
  • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products as required.
  • Stack and organize materials neatly to maximize storage space and facilitate inventory management.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking orders, packing products, and conducting inventory counts as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid 5th Class Power Engineering Certification (4th class certification considered an asset)
  • Steel-Toed Boots
  • Ability to lift over 20kg
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to relevant regulations and procedures.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Experience in food manufacturing
  • Experience in Process Operations
