Senior Financial Analyst - Product Oversight

About the Role:

The Daily Financial Estimates (DFE) Product Oversight Team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and promptness of gross revenue for management records and reporting, particularly in relation to Profit and Loss (P&L) reconciliation and analysis of Same Day Estimates (SDE). You will embody our One Finance Vision and Guiding Principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Data Verification: Support the Front Office, Risk Management, and Finance teams by analyzing P&L by risk factors, ensuring clarity on the underlying drivers of financial performance.
  • Business Accountability: Take ownership of the Daily Financial Estimate for a Capital Markets Trading Line of Business, ensuring efficient operation of the control framework and serving as the primary contact for stakeholders.

Who You Are:

  • Detail-Oriented: You possess keen observational skills and critical thinking abilities that enhance your decision-making process.
  • Adaptable: You are open to change and continuously seek to improve your work methods.
  • Data-Driven: You enjoy tackling complex issues and effectively communicating insights derived from data.
  • Professionally Qualified: You have completed CFA Level 1 and possess 2+ years of relevant experience in Product Control or a related field. Additional qualifications such as an MBA or FRM are advantageous.
  • Experienced: You have a solid understanding of P&L reporting processes for complex financial instruments, including derivatives and customized securities.
