The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient operation. They provide direction and supervision to a team of Customer Service Representatives, Sales Floor Coordinators, Maintenance and Custodial Staff, Front End Service Clerks, and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding customer service and handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints effectively
- Manage Front End/Customer Service Office operations including cash handling, security checks, and maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Ensure merchandise quality, pricing integrity, and cleanliness of the sales floor
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and receiving processes
- Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and training as needed
- Operate checkouts and handle cash transactions efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to uphold occupational health and safety standards
- Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
- Six months of supervisory or retail experience
- Fluency in English
- Basic receiving, ordering, and merchandising skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Related post-secondary education
- Experience in event planning and supervising others
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
