Customer Service Supervisor

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient operation. They provide direction and supervision to a team of Customer Service Representatives, Sales Floor Coordinators, Maintenance and Custodial Staff, Front End Service Clerks, and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service and handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints effectively
  • Manage Front End/Customer Service Office operations including cash handling, security checks, and maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Ensure merchandise quality, pricing integrity, and cleanliness of the sales floor
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and receiving processes
  • Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Operate checkouts and handle cash transactions efficiently
  • Collaborate with other departments to uphold occupational health and safety standards
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
  • Six months of supervisory or retail experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Basic receiving, ordering, and merchandising skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Related post-secondary education
  • Experience in event planning and supervising others
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems
