We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Workday Financials/HCM/Payroll implementations in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple Workday Financials/HCM/Payroll implementations concurrently, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
- Participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements, develop proposals, and provide delivery approaches.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources working on implementations.
- Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed, and manage project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize and manage project risks proactively with customers.
- Collaborate with client project managers to identify and resolve issues impacting project scope and timeframes.
- Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings and ensure clients take advantage of Workday best practices.
- Act as a liaison for Professional Services when interacting with Sales and other internal stakeholder groups.
- Identify opportunities to position other service offerings and ensure clients can serve as references upon completing implementations.
- Assist in the transition of customers from Professional Services to Product Support and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 4+ years of managing complex HCM and/or ERP implementations, with a strong focus on Financials/HCM or Payroll.
- 3+ years of deploying Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Ultimate Kronos, or similar software.
- Prior experience working for a professional services consulting firm or supporting HCM/ERP implementations within the customer.
- Previous experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Ability to travel up to 25% - 50% of the time.
