Senior Project Manager Job Description

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Calgary, AB. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating a diverse team of business and IT staff and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of complex software integrations and managing interdependencies between corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients, teams, and stakeholders to support business goals
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, workflow, and milestones using a defined project delivery framework
  • Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Identify and secure necessary resources and manage team performance, addressing any skill gaps
  • Partner with Change Management resources to implement Business Readiness strategies
  • Liaise with project stakeholders regularly to ensure alignment and progress
  • Perform risk management, documenting and resolving project risks/issues as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - an asset
  • Experience with Waterfall/SDLC - Advanced
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Additional Assets:
  • Oil & Gas industry experience
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Knowledge of Production Data Management and Field Data Capture systems
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification
  • Experience with MS Project software
  • Project delivery and organizational change management

  • Time management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
