The Facilities Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance and functionality of the property. This position entails ensuring that all living experience systems, equipment, and inventory are effectively maintained. The supervisor will also liaise with external service providers as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily resident satisfaction needs of the property.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and train all team members involved in resident care.
  • Supervise daily operations of the resident care team, including scheduling, task assignment, monitoring progress, and evaluating performance.
  • Handle team member performance evaluations, including promotions, raises, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee the resident living experience in communal areas and private suites, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Assist the team in consistently identifying and addressing areas that do not meet quality expectations, focusing on technology operations, fluid management, and aesthetics.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to any escalated resident concerns.
  • Inspect suites before and after resident occupancy, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
  • Regularly assess the property’s interior and exterior to maintain high living experience standards and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate daily inspections of health and wellness areas.
  • Evaluate building appearance and safety, alerting the team to necessary improvements.
  • Select and manage relationships with service providers to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Obtain and oversee proposals from service providers until completion.
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities related to resident care, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Procure necessary supplies while aligning with financial goals.
  • Accurately prepare and submit property invoices in accordance with established protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with property owners and/or management regarding resident care operations.
  • Deliver an exceptional resident care experience while promoting a high-quality living environment.
  • Encourage participation in company-sponsored training programs and ensure compliance with training requirements.
  • Engage in training related to fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
  • Adhere to all company standards and applicable health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent training in Property Management.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in resident care, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical skills and comprehensive knowledge of building systems and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and observational skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for enhancing the living experience and address them efficiently.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership abilities coupled with effective communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead team members at all levels.
