About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Newmarket Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Guests: Welcome guests and direct them to their rooms, amenities, and services.
  • Process Information: Obtain and process information required to provide excellent customer service, including handling guest requests and resolving issues.
  • Record and Relay Information: Accurately record and relay information to guests, colleagues, and management as needed.
  • Maintain Work Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs, including guest interactions and service requests.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail, as well as answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
  • Calculate Billing Charges: Accurately calculate and process billing charges for guests.
  • Monitor Communications: Monitor mobile radio or telephone communications to stay informed and respond to guest requests.
  • Provide Directory Assistance: Provide accurate and helpful directory assistance to guests.
  • Assist Guests with Disabilities: Assist guests with disabilities and provide exceptional service to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Perform Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently perform data entry tasks as needed.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced hotel environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, maintain attention to detail, and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
