About the Role

CMC Electronics is a globally recognized leader in innovative solutions for the aviation industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Support Specialist to join our team in Montreal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to production, testing, R&O, and delivery of various avionics products.
  • Conduct practical technical investigations, propose, and implement solutions for performance issues, design problems, and component obsolescence.
  • Work under the supervision of the Montreal Production Support Engineering group to provide technical support to various teams, including manufacturing, repair, and revision, testing, and technical design.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a material electronic environment, preferably in a high-tech environment: aerospace, telecommunications.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve technical investigations, identify root causes, and resolve product issues in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in testing equipment in environmental chambers according to quality standards and procedures such as RTCA/DO-160 or MIL-STD-810.
  • Dynamism, autonomy, organization, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written).
