About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Prototype Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and execution of prototypes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the prototype build process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality prototypes.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions, process workflows, and flowcharts to support prototype assembly.
- Collaborate with the R&D Inventory Specialist to ensure accurate inventory management and tracking of prototype components.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records of prototype build and testing.
- Work closely with external vendors to ensure timely completion of facility tasks and documentation in electronic management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on prototype development.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, including Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on prototype development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with mechanical drawings (CAD drawings) and Bills of Material.
- Experience with electronic document systems, such as Windchill.
