Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Expertise: Act as a primary point of contact for key Thought Leaders, fostering strong partnerships and providing scientific expertise to shape and synergize to reach win-win outcomes.
  • Thought Leader Engagement: Identify, profile, and segment Thought Leaders, developing implementable engagement plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Therapeutic Area Specialist: Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research on the therapeutic area, developing a strong understanding of Bayer's market strategies and the healthcare landscape.
  • Insight Generation: Collect and document Thought Leader insights on current clinical practice, beliefs, and unmet medical needs, communicating them to cross-functional partners to inform agile planning cycles.
  • Learning Activities: Coordinate and organize scientific learning activities within the therapeutic area, working with Thought Leaders and other Bayer partners.
  • Regional Meetings: Organize and lead regional consultant meetings to gather insights and shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Investigator Initiated Research: Facilitate Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) set-up, acting as the primary point of contact for investigators.
  • Medical Operations: Support medical operations and site management for non-interventional and interventional trials.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training related to disease state, Bayer product, and competitor products for internal cross-functional partners and present to external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a customer-facing medical affairs role or experience in drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinical relevant activities.
  • Skills: Demonstrated learning agility, transferable skills to cover different therapeutic areas, ability to work in a team environment, build productive work relationships, and excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills.
