Job Title: Data Security Admin

Job Summary:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Security Admin to join our team. As a Data Security Admin, you will be responsible for championing a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader client relationships, systems, and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Associate Director, Off-Boarding & Client Lifecycle Management to drive successful execution and completion of client off-boards in a controlled and timely manner across GBM Canada.
  2. Engage business and develop business partnerships to gain buy-in to strategic off-boarding.
  3. Deepen key strategic client relationships and leverage broader client relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  4. Support the development of a robust client off-boarding operating model to timely exit risky or non-strategic clients approved by the business.
  5. Provide accurate and complete management information on status, risks, and issues with the process and escalate any control weaknesses.
  6. Support relevant remediation initiatives as assigned, including planning, tracking, execution, and developing robust processes, relevant training materials, and procedures documents.
  7. Understand how the client's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  8. Actively pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with client's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, ensuring adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations regarding operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
  9. Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Data Security Admin.
  • 2-4 years of experience with global banking and capital markets business in a client-facing capacity.
  • Knowledgeable about end-to-end workflows among the Front, Middle, and Back Offices.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with experience in developing executive-level presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior client Off-Boarding & Client Lifecycle Management experience is an asset.

Soft Skills:

  • Must operate effectively within a stressful environment with changing priorities and tight time frames closely scrutinized by Senior/Executive Management.
  • The position requires business acumen, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, relationship management, and time management skills are essential.
  • Fast learner with strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities to frame and structure complex issues effectively and develop insights and recommendations.
  • Change agent with high energy, demonstrating a strong ability to work under pressure, deal with ambiguities and uncertainties, and drive results.
  • Strong communication, organizational, project management, and planning skills.

Education:

  • University degree in business, finance, law, or other relevant fields; PMP, CAMs designation or experience is an asset.
