About the Role

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Away From Home (AFH) Distribution and Retail team. As a key member of our Canadian AFH leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts, strategy development, and growth initiatives within the Canadian AFH market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor, manage, and coach a team of direct reports to achieve business objectives and develop their skills.
  • Develop and implement high-functioning work teams that empower, grow, and recognize employees.
  • Foster cross-functional experiences that build knowledge and skills for future growth within the Kraft Heinz organization.

Executional Excellence

  • Lead cross-functional business planning within the AFH Distribution and Retail channel to drive strong performance across all channel initiatives.
  • Develop, track, analyze, and evaluate insightful business plans based on AFH priorities, customer strategies, and external factors.
  • Build Kraft Heinz business with customers by achieving profitability, share gains, revenue targets, EBITDA, customer P&L, new and core item introduction, and distribution.
  • Communicate and influence the implementation of business plans to enable superior execution across vital team members.
  • Drive efficient and effective trade programs to deliver the best return on investment.
  • Challenge internal and external teams to drive creative ideas that capitalize on business opportunities.

Customer Excellence

  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Foster relationships with customers by providing growth strategies that align with their objectives.
  • Lead and/or assist with major business reviews and customer visits, including annual reviews and top-to-top meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen and business intuition, with experience in P&L management and trade deployment.
  • Experience in the foodservice industry, preferably in a CPG environment with Away From Home exposure.
