Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team at 2418416 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register Systems with accuracy and efficiency, processing transactions and handling customer payments.
  • Manage Cash and Credit Transactions with attention to detail, ensuring all sales are accurately recorded and processed.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace by restocking shelves, cleaning the counter area, and adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with Inventory Management by monitoring stock levels, reporting discrepancies, and participating in inventory control processes.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant by engaging with customers, promoting our menu, and supporting special events.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in electronic cash register systems, Interac machines, and price scanners.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation is required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
