About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Canadian Brew House (Moose Jaw) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or bar environment
  • Transportation: Own transportation or public transportation available
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires attention to detail
