Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Philthy Philly Cheesesteak and Poutinerie. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is ready for customers to collect.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their queries in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and satisfied with their experience.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the dining area is clean and tidy.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 30-35 hours per week.
