About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at RED SWAN PIZZA MOOSE JAW. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, providing valuable insights for management.
    • Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. You will be working in a kitchen and front-of-house area, and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language and Work Term
    • Fluent in English.
    • Permanent work term.
