Position Overview

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the management of stock and inventory within the organization. This role is essential for ensuring that all materials and supplies are effectively organized and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop specific strategies to prioritize inventory tasks and ensure efficient operations.
  • Task Organization: Systematically organize tasks to achieve operational goals.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate the logistics of inventory management.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align activities and enhance workflow.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on inventory status and operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of all inventory-related equipment and machinery, arranging for necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Problem Resolution: Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Training: Educate staff on inventory procedures and company policies.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance assessments for team members.
  • Work Assignment: Coordinate, assign, and review tasks for the inventory team.
  • Material Requisition: Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
  • Inventory Organization: Maintain a well-organized inventory system.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College or CEGEP.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Working Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
