Position Overview

The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the inventory management processes within our organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the efficient operation of inventory systems and maintain optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate inventory activities.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on inventory status.
  • Oversee the functionality of computer systems and machinery related to inventory management.
  • Organize maintenance and repair schedules for equipment.
  • Address operational challenges, providing expert advice and strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Manage the recruitment and hiring processes for inventory staff.
  • Conduct training sessions to familiarize employees with their roles and company policies.
  • Facilitate ongoing training opportunities for team members.
  • Perform evaluations of employee performance.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the progress of work within the inventory team.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
  • Establish and implement work schedules and procedures for the inventory department.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a supervisory role related to inventory management.
