Position Overview

The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of inventory levels and ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on inventory status and performance.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of all computer systems and machinery used in inventory management.
  • Organize maintenance and repair work for equipment as needed.
  • Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members in their roles and company policies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Oversee the assignment and review of work tasks among team members.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Establish effective work schedules and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
