About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our property, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee and perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
  • Facilities Management: Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors and tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects and repairs.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all necessary materials are on hand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, and that the property remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve maintenance-related issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to our operations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
