About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at Pet to Nature Canada Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our commercial facilities, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct and control the operations of our commercial facilities, ensuring that they are running in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Identify customers' needs and provide excellent customer service to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Sales and Marketing: Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Facilities Management: Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements, and recommend products or services to customers.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and administer sales contracts, and administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services.
  • Staff Management: Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff, and plan and manage the facility's operations budget.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and troubleshoot problems related to equipment.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs, and direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work.
  • Equipment: Must have the necessary equipment for remote work (i.e. internet, home office, etc.).
