Key Responsibilities:
1. Create, modify, and format documentation with precision and care.
2. Utilize various applications effectively and suggest alternative production methods to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
3. Manage timelines and ensure timely completion of all tasks received in the Document Processing Centre.
4. Foster a positive experience for clients interacting with the Document Processing Centre.
5. Perform a range of tasks, including photocopying, printing, faxing, and dispatching documents as required.
6. Stay updated on technological advancements and changes.
7. Produce high-quality work and proofread documents as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a legal Document Processing Centre is preferred.
- Familiarity with various practice areas, particularly Real Estate or Litigation, is advantageous.
- Completion of post-secondary education as a legal assistant or law clerk is required.
- Flexibility in work schedule and willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive situations and handle multiple demands effectively.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with digital dictation transcription, accounting software, Document Management, Adobe Reader, and Workshare Compare is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
