About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our Racquets & Athletics team at the Richmond Country Club. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and energetic greetings to members and guests
  • Attend to members' requests promptly and efficiently
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate area or assist with inquiries
  • Control the main switchboard and perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Monitor and administer Racquets, Athletics, and Aquatics rules and procedures
  • Assist other departments with administrative tasks and provide support to the Racquet Office Supervisor or Director, Racquets & Athletics
  • Correspond with members and guests via email or in person
  • Handle shipments and communicate with other departments as needed
  • Monitor front and side door cameras and confirm guest registration
  • Arrange for courier services and accept incoming deliveries
  • Issue key fobs and maintain locker records
  • Assist with court bookings and accept guest payments
  • Bill members for purchases and complete administrative tasks
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and schedule appointments for members
  • Assist with class sign-ups and prepare materials for league and social events
  • Prepare club gift certificates and maintain records
  • Take dining room and event reservations
Requirements
  • 1-year minimum experience in a similar administrative role
  • Preferrable environment: experience in office or fitness center reception
