We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our Racquets & Athletics team at the Richmond Country Club. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, while also handling administrative tasks and supporting the day-to-day operations of the club.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet members and guests in a friendly and energetic manner, attend to their requests promptly, and answer all incoming calls and direct them to the proper area in the club or assist the caller with their inquiry.
- Administrative Support: Control the main switchboard for the club, transfer calls to other departments, take reservations for dining, and answer general questions for the club.
- Communication: Promptly correspond with members and guests through email or in person, handle shipments that come through the club, and communicate any messages with other departments.
- Operations: Monitor the front/side door cameras, confirm that all guests are registered, arrange for courier services as needed, accept and direct incoming deliveries, and issue key fobs and provide administration with the appropriate billing record.
- Member Services: Assist members with court bookings, accept guest credit/debit payments, bill members for all purchases, and schedule appointments for members.
- Experience: 1-year minimum working experience in a similar administrative role.
- Environment: Preferable environment: experience in office or fitness center reception.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, good interpersonal and organizational skills, detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual.
- Attitude: Energetic attitude, enjoy working with a team, and flexibility to meet work shift demands including holidays and weekends.
- On-site Parking: Free parking for all staff members.

- Club Amenities: Use of the golf course, tennis courts, and gym (subject to off-peak hours).
