About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team at BDO Canada LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate client business processes and policies to identify tax opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop and implement proactive tax strategies to optimize client outcomes.
  • Provide technical and project management leadership to team members on Domestic Tax projects.
  • Identify and capitalize on business and tax opportunities for clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and provide exceptional support for engagements.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Engage in training and professional development of team members.
Requirements
  • Completed CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Program.
  • 7 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation and corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
