Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and developing proactive tax strategies to drive business growth
  • Applying specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address tax issues relevant to the client's business
  • Providing technical and project management leadership to team members for Domestic Tax projects or assignments, ensuring quality control standards are in place
  • Identifying and developing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations, and reviewing corporate, trust, and estate tax returns
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and providing effective support for engagements
  • Participating in business development initiatives, including identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a talented professional who embodies BDO's core values of Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration. You will have:

  • Completed your CPA designation and the In-Depth Tax Program and/or Master's in Tax
  • 7 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
