About the Role

As a Senior Manager at KPMG in Canada, you will play a key role in providing tax compliance services to our clients. This includes leading small and medium-sized client engagements, managing tax compliance for Canadian and US personal taxes, and overseeing international assignment programs. You will work closely with partners, executive directors, and senior managers to deliver high-quality tax services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements and manage tax compliance for Canadian and US personal taxes.
  • Oversee international assignment programs, including tax projections, equalizations, and briefings.
  • Collaborate with partners, executive directors, and senior managers to deliver tax services.
  • Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring for staff professional development.
  • Work with other office members on global clients and proposals.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a public accounting firm specializing in personal Canadian and US tax.
  • Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual French and English to work with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec.
  • Enrollment in an accounting designation (CPA, Canada or CPA, US).
  • Enrollment in courses to obtain the US title of Enrolled Agent is an asset.
