The University of British Columbia seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join our team in the Therapeutics Initiative. As a postdoctoral research fellow, you will conduct research in the areas of Implementation Science and lead stakeholder engagement related to healthcare systems change management.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement interventions to reduce low-value laboratory testing in hospitals in British Columbia and to deprescribe potentially unnecessary medications. Your primary activities will include leading stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals, leading the implementation of an intervention bundle, and conducting qualitative research.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Implementation Science and qualitative research, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare systems change, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals
  • Lead the implementation of an intervention bundle
  • Conduct qualitative research
  • Write research abstracts, summary reports, and scientific articles
  • Present study results to the scientific community

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of four years related experience
  • Strong research publication record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
