Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Implementation Science

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at The University of British Columbia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Implementation Science and a proven track record of leading health systems change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals in hospitals across British Columbia, as well as community and public partners.
- Develop and implement an intervention bundle to reduce laboratory test over-use across hospitals.
- Conduct qualitative research, including interviews and data analysis.
- Write research abstracts, summary reports, and scientific articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present study results to the scientific community at national and international conferences.
- Identify and pursue secondary research projects and research funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with other research teams to advance the field of Implementation Science.
The successful candidate will have a doctorate degree in a relevant discipline, such as Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field. They will also have a strong research publication record and a minimum of four years of related experience. Key skills and qualifications include:
- Demonstrated expertise in Implementation Science and leading health systems change initiatives.
- Strong qualitative research skills, including experience with interviews and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and research teams.
- High-level conceptual, analytical, and critical appraisal skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to work independently and as part of a research team.
