Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Volkswagen Group Canada Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the recruitment activities of our growing Talent Acquisition team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage various stages of the recruitment process, including posting job requisitions, initial candidate screening, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates to provide a positive and seamless recruitment experience.
  • Monitor the general recruitment inbox and act on relevant correspondence.
  • Assist with planning and attending job fairs and other recruitment-related events.
  • Provide recruitment support for student hiring, including posting jobs on post-secondary job boards, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
  • Support recruitment projects and contribute ideas to improve processes and practices.
  • Prepare reports and maintain recruitment forms, templates, and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to prepare new hires for their first day, including access to resources, training, and other information.
Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business, Human Resources, and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • ~2+ years of experience within a fast-paced Human Resources or Recruitment environment, ideally with coordination responsibilities.
  • ~ Exposure to Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a strong asset.
  • ~ Proven ability with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • ~ Occasional international travel to HQ in Germany (total travel up to ~10%).
