Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time professional to join our team in a vital role.

This position involves a structured schedule with defined shifts, accommodating various times of the day.

As part of a Collective Bargaining unit, this role will be available for internal applications for a specified period.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between patients, caregivers, families, Personal Support Workers, supervisors, funders, finance, and other employees Manage routine referral and intake information from funders and private clients Develop and coordinate service schedules while considering various factors Communicate new assignments and schedule changes to workers Input relevant data into the automated information system/database Generate schedules and reports regularly and upon request Handle inbound calls and email inquiries related to services Perform additional administrative tasks as needed Undertake other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

A strong commitment to positively impacting patients' lives Preferred post-secondary education and at least one (1) year of relevant experience in administrative or customer service roles Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Attention to detail and adaptability to new systems and databases Strong verbal and written communication skills Availability for non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends Experience in a unionized environment and healthcare sector is advantageous A clear background check is required
