Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between patients, caregivers, their families, Personal Support Workers, team supervisors, funders, finance, and other CarePartners staff.
- Receive and process routine referral and intake information from funders and private-pay clients.
- Develop and coordinate service schedules while considering various relevant factors.
- Communicate new assignments and schedule changes to workers.
- Input relevant data into the automated information system/database.
- Generate schedules and reports regularly and upon request from the Supervisor.
- Manage inbound telephone calls and email inquiries related to services.
- Execute other administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- A strong commitment to positively impacting the lives of patients.
- Preferred post-secondary education and at least one (1) year of relevant experience in administrative or customer service roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new systems and databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability for non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience in a unionized environment and the healthcare sector is an asset.
- A clear background check is required.
