About the Role

Feliza African Grocery and Beauty Store Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assign sales staff to duties, order merchandise, and authorize returns to ensure efficient inventory management and maximize sales revenue.
  • Operations Management: Establish work schedules, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure stock is accurately tracked and replenished as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail management experience
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
