Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Philthy Philly Cheesesteak and Poutinerie. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups.
  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
  • Inventory Management: Restock supplies, including food, beverages, and paper products, to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, overtime required, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player, initiative, and positive attitude.
Working Conditions

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be required to work in a team environment and be able to multitask in a dynamic setting.
