Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Direct and manage the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that stock levels are adequate.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
- Communication: Prepare and submit food order summaries to the chef, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Delivery and Logistics: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner.
- Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules and procedures, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Language and Hours: Fluency in English is required, and the working hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
