Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Assistant to join our team at DERRY URGENT CARE CLINIC INC. As a Medical Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Assess Patient Needs: Assist physicians in assessing patients, gathering medical history, and documenting patient information.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications, pharmaceutical products, and equipment, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
  • Supply Management: Order and maintain supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Document Patient Progress: Document patient rehabilitation progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Office Administration: Perform routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Physician's office
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, reliability, team player
