Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Restore Hyperbarics and Medical Centre. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals with patient assessments, developing information materials, maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient assessments and develop information materials for patients
  • Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data collection and processing
  • Develop and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Record vital signs and process claims
  • Collect statistics and maintain supplies
  • Perform general clerical duties and process files and paperwork
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and manage routine office functions
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • CPR Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong attention to detail
