Position Overview

As a User Support Technician at GLOBAL INFOTECH SERVICES, you will play a crucial role in assisting users with their technical challenges. Your expertise will help ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist users facing issues with their computer systems.
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user manuals, technical documents, and guides.
  • Offer training and advice to users based on identified challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for the benefit of fellow technical support analysts.
  • Provide support for business systems, networks, and internet-related issues.
  • Set up and install equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Familiarity with networking software and hardware.
  • Understanding of extranet and intranet systems.
  • Knowledge of server management and desktop applications.
  • Proficiency in file management and security software.
  • Experience with communication tools and MS Office applications.
  • Competence in MS Windows and wireless networking.
