About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our Employment and Labour Law team at KPMG Law LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing employment and labour law issues, drafting and reviewing documents, and collaborating with senior lawyers to develop practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on employment and labour law issues to develop a deep understanding of the law
  • Assist in the preparation and review of documents, including pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop and implement effective solutions to complex employment and labour law issues
  • Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills to clients and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment and labour law and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
Requirements
  • Called to the Bar in 2024 and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Interest in practicing Employment and Labour Law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
