Automation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Keller Executive Search. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative automation solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automation solutions.
  • Design and develop PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and other automation-related software.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers to develop and integrate mechanical components into automation systems.
  • Conduct research and development to stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and trends.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or robotics engineering.
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of PLC/HMI systems, GRAFCET, ladder, ST programming, and Beckhoff programming languages.
  • Good electrical knowledge, including control and power systems.
  • Bilingual, English and French, to communicate with internal and external suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in an R&D environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems.
