Senior Care Provider

Verve Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health and Wellness Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents.
As part of our commitment to excellence, we strive to create a positive and supportive environment where seniors can thrive. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents by assisting them with their daily needs and promoting their overall health.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to residents, focusing on their cognitive, social, and emotional needs.
- Assist with nursing procedures, adhering to established care standards and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Manager and other care providers to implement resident care plans.
- Participate in Life Enrichment programs, fostering a sense of community and engagement among residents.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of resident care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an approved Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker program.
- Minimum grade 12 education.
- Preference for those with long-term care or retirement residence experience.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Flexible availability for various shifts (days, evenings, nights).
Additional Qualifications:
- HCA REGISTRY is required.
- MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION CERTIFICATE
