Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health and Wellness Attendant to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the delivery of care to residents, adhering to individualized care plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to residents, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Perform nursing care procedures in accordance with established standards of resident care, following routine practices and infection control protocols.
  • Comply with occupational health and safety regulations, reporting incidents and participating in in-services and fire drills.
  • Assist in delivering Life Enrichment programs and activities, promoting a positive and engaging environment for residents.
  • Complete nursing documentation accurately and legibly, maintaining health records in compliance with relevant legislations.
Requirements
  • Certificate from an approved Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker program.
  • Completed grade 12 education.
  • Preference given to individuals with experience in long-term care or retirement residence.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
