About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Dean of the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Dean's complex and intensive calendar, including scheduling meetings and committees
  • Research, organize, and prepare confidential briefing and meeting materials
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and track, reconcile, and prepare expense reimbursements
  • Manage the Dean's academic priorities and research accounts
  • Provide proactive, tactful, and timely follow-up, often liaising with the Manager, Office of the Dean and the Chief Administrative Officer
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of five years of progressively senior administrative experience supporting senior executives
  • Demonstrated academic administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the University's structure and academic policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
