About the Role

At Meridian Credit Union, we're committed to delivering exceptional financial services to our members. As an Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our technology infrastructure to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our infrastructure technology solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise and advice to IT teams on operational issues.
  • Ensure the stability of our infrastructure environment to meet current needs and position for future direction.
  • Manage multiple vendors to ensure new technologies are constructed in a cost-effective and business-focused manner.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that the infrastructure technology being implemented is compatible with current standards and aligned with future goals.
  • Communicate issues in a timely manner and propose effective solutions to management.
  • Assist in identifying and escalating performance issues, and make recommendations to ensure the existing infrastructure environment operates in accordance with defined SLAs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years' related industry/professional experience with implementing and managing Microsoft technologies in a complex, multi-platform computing/network environment.
  • Working experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
  • Experience delivering complex projects on time, to scope, and within budget.
  • Microsoft Azure Certified (fundamentals) preferred.
