About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team at Meridian Credit Union. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our infrastructure technology solutions to meet the business requirements of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our current operations environment as part of a team of Technology Specialists.
  • Maintenance and Support: Execute defined maintenance plans as part of our preventive strategy for the stability and reliability of our infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure Solutions: Provide input into defining infrastructure solutions by working with existing Technology teams.
  • Technology Support: Assist in building, configuring, and maintaining assigned technologies.
  • Data Management: Support the development and maintenance of data warehouses, databases, and other data storage solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Manage multiple vendors to ensure new technologies are constructed in a cost-effective and business-focused manner, ensuring commitments are met and delivered on time.
  • Project Management: Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that the infrastructure technology being implemented is compatible with current standards and aligned with future goals.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Active Directory Administration, enterprise-grade storage, data archiving, and backup solutions, SQL management and configurations, Microsoft Windows Server, Virtual Server Technologies, Cloud computing fundamentals, Microsoft Systems Center, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Virtual Desktops, experience with PowerShell, scripting, and automation, and detail knowledge of Windows Networking Services.
  • Non-Technical Skills: Ability to prioritize and plan workload, adapt to changing business needs, strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with and build effective relationships at all levels of management and staff, promote teamwork and collaboration, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8+ years' related industry/professional experience with implementing and managing Microsoft technologies in a complex, multi-platform computing/network environment with responsibility for problem identification and resolution.
