The Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) is tasked with nurturing and enhancing advisory connections with our most valued members while also providing essential leadership support to the Branch Manager.

In this role, you will implement a sophisticated approach to proactive outreach, manage your pipeline effectively, and engage with our business specialists to address intricate member financial requirements. The SRM aims to broaden relationships beyond individual members to their households, fostering the transfer of wealth and financial wellness for future generations. Additionally, you will offer reciprocal assistance to business team members and provide comprehensive support to various management roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Skillfully evaluate members' financial goals, risk appetite, and specific needs to deliver customized guidance. Develop comprehensive financial strategies that integrate investment, lending, protection, and everyday banking services. Facilitate referrals to trusted partners, ensuring a seamless transition for members while maintaining their confidence. Lead the onboarding process and initiate relationship discussions with new retail and business members who fit within our high-value portfolio. Cultivate and enhance member relationships through Financial Health Assessments, pipeline management, and effective referrals to other specialists. Contribute to positive member satisfaction scores through consistent adherence to the advisory process and service adaptation. Implement comprehensive advice-based financial strategies to meet members' complex lending, investment, protection, and banking needs. Maintain precise records of member interactions, advice, and transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and ethical standards. Possess a solid understanding of registered products, including tax implications, and develop strategies for term deposits that balance liquidity and desired returns. Support the execution of cash-related and operational tasks on a regular basis. Assist in overseeing compliance and audit responsibilities, including managing ATM processes and cash balancing. Drive outcomes through leadership in campaign management and reporting. Provide backup support for other advisory roles as necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, with a diploma or degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred. Minimum of 3 years in financial services, with at least one year in an advisory role. Required experience in mortgage lending and mutual fund sales.

Required Certifications:

Licensed to sell mutual funds. Completion of CUIC 210 or equivalent internal training within 12 months. Willingness to complete Financial Planning courses is an asset. Proven leadership and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and time management abilities. Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies. Demonstrated success and high performance in a similar role. Experience in a professional financial advisory sales environment. Strong financial acumen and knowledge of financial products and services. Familiarity with retail lending, particularly complex mortgages. Comprehensive understanding of investments, with proven experience in mutual fund sales and holistic financial planning. Ability to provide sound advice in various member situations.
