Your Key Responsibilities

Prescription Management and Administrative Support:

  1. Processing customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescription requests.
  2. Handling in-person and telephone refill requests and documenting deliveries.
  3. Understanding and promoting pharmacy initiatives.
  4. Organizing prescriptions, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness.
  5. Creating and receiving drug orders, compounding, and assembling pill packs.
  6. Coordinating professional clinical services.
  7. Managing behind-the-counter tasks, including inventory counts and returns.
  8. Assisting the pharmacist with dispensary responsibilities as permitted.
Your Qualifications
  1. Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  2. Consideration for applicants with two years of retail pharmacy experience in lieu of certification in certain provinces.
  3. Previous pharmacy experience is advantageous.
  4. Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  5. Commitment to adhering to and implementing all relevant company standards.
