Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Shalimar Transport Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee vehicle condition, inspect equipment, and perform maintenance tasks and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns with professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, itineraries, and reservations, and receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Safety and Security: Record cargo information, maintain safety and security of cargo, and undergo a driver's validity license check and driving record check (abstract).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of long-haul experience required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement needed.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding tasks, repetitive tasks involved, and sitting for extended periods.
