Job Summary:

The Implementation Manager is responsible for overseeing the software development and delivery process, ensuring timely and successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet project objectives.
  • Release Coordination: Coordinate release schedules, resources, and third-party applications to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines, scope, or quality.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Release Readiness Reviews: Conduct release readiness reviews to ensure project readiness for deployment.
  • Implementation Planning: Develop plans for implementation and deployment as per the release schedule.
  • Communication: Communicate project-related tasks, plans, timelines, and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with release managers from different IT departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Go-Live Activities: Lead Go-Live activities to deploy software successfully.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge in software engineering and design architecture.
  • Business Analysis: Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
  • Work Experience: 1-3 years relevant work experience in this area.

Benefits:

  • Job Type: Temporary Contractor – 1 year.
  • Location: Ottawa.
  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hour week.
