About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at New Lovely Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Joint Compound Application: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Drywall Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Work Environment: Commercial and residential settings, with various locations.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
